Purity: Facial cleanser

I have always had sensitive skin. From childhood into young adulthood, I had severe eczema so I really had to be careful about what I used on my skin. When my daughter became a teenager and my own skin began to age, I again felt the need to experiment developing a cleansing product.

Like most of us, I grew up believing that having a soapy lather meant getting clean. I learned otherwise. Soap is very drying to the skin. This cleanser contains no soap, so it will not lather. If you must have lather, I suggest you add just two drops of liquid soap purchased from a health food store—shake and you will have lather. Your face doesn’t need soap, but we want to support what makes you comfortable.

Ingredients: Aloe Vera to clean and soften the skin; vegetable glycerin to promote water retention; lavender floral water for fragrance; and distilled water (contains no bacteria).
