“The physician treats, but nature heals”—Hippocrates
It’s time to serve the earth and ourselves. In a world of chemicals and cancers, I felt a need to return to source. Everything we need for beautiful, healthy, vibrant skin can be found in pure natural plants and extracts. Our skin is the largest organ of the body. The blood that flows through us nourishes it. Whatever we put on our skin enters the body through our bloodstream—even makeup. (If you doubt this, rub a clove of garlic on your arm, and within twenty minutes you will taste it in your mouth.) Our skin care line is composed entirely of natural ingredients that not only assist healing, but also provide nutrients to our skin and our bodies.
I have spent years as an herbalist teaching and experimenting with different blends for this line of skin care products and know them to be true to our skin and our souls. To our knowledge, we have the only skin care products that use no chemicals or alcohol. It may be more simple to add these ingredients, but we refuse to take this short cut to our health and well-being. Why would we use a known irritant or drying agent like alcohol in a product we want to moisturize our skin? Herbs and natural oils consist of subtle biochemical substances that our bodies are familiar with. This makes them easier to absorb.
The trade-off to not using chemical or alcohol is a shorter “life” for some of our products. The natural ingredients begin to fade after three months. As a result, we package these products sizes that should be easily used up in that time. We think it’s worth buying these products four times a year to avoid chemicals and alcohol. As with all natural and organic products, keep these products out of heat and sunlight.
We have a responsibility to care more about ourselves on the inside and outside. In a world of processed everything, it is good to get back to nature every chance we have.
We are extremely proud of our products, and our customer endorsements make us feel good about the direction of our company.
